Chile on Sunday, Dave's wedding on Saturday, rehersal dinner on Friday.

Well, we just passed the halfway mark of Six Feet Under. Disk 3 Season 3.  We should finish the season before Santiago, but we may miss Dave's wedding.

Ed and Kory met us at the river. We took the long float, which was nice, except that the Busch Lite got warm and I got cold halfway through.  And the river was so low, we kept draggin our asses on the rocks.

Taylor v. Pavlik on HBO saturday night. I'll be at the wedding but maybe I can get J-Lau to TIVO it for me, and then I can slingbox from Chile.    It's a crazy world,  I'll give another example:   Jermaine Taylor hasn't lost a fight, and his last five fights have been against Bernard Hopkins, Winky Wright, Cory Spinks, and Hassim Ouma.  And yet the dude gets zero respect.  In fact, he is considered an underdog against Pavlik, who has only beat the little known Edison Miranda.   The reason behind this 'injustice' is that Pavlik wiped the floor with the hard hitting Miranda, while Taylor was negative throughout his fights, drawing against Winky, and 'winning' contraversially against the other guys.     But he's at least as good as them, no?  The only active guy with a reign as long as B-Hop's is Calzaghe, who fights the powerfull Kessler on Nov 3rd.

Also , before the end of the year Hatton Mayweather, and Cotto v. Mosley. Both those fights, especially the latter, will be great, even for casual boxing fans.  Incidently, Mayweather starts Dancing with the Stars this week.  If he were to make it to the finals, he would only have two weeks between the end of the show and his fight against Hatton. I love Ricky, but he needs all the help he can get against the bigger, longer, and faster, Mayweather. Mayweather may even hit harder at that weight.. Scary, considering Ricky got handled by a lesser opponent at his only other campaign at 147.  So Vote for Floyd.

Oh nevermind, don't vote for that arrogant bastard, Ricky will either win or he won't.

Hmmm, Chile just IM'd me asking me to bring my Boots.   Sta tuned for more Reports from the Pitch.
