I played towne's version of 'If I needed you" and Corrie recognized it as a woman's song.  Emmylou made if famous, but one of my favorite things in all of music is her saying that when she wants to give up and feels like she can't go on, she tell sherself that 'at least I still have Poncho and Lefty'.      That's an song endorsement for you.    Greatest Song Ever?
