I was in the air so I missed the debate. The problem with Bush was (and is) he is not a conservative but like his daddy, played one on TV. The backlash is coming from conservatives myself included who are upset that were were taken by him. Since the tax cut in 2003 he has not done anything even remotely conservative. Medicare drug plan, amnety for illegals, mortgage bailout, no child left behind, steel tarriffs, Hariet Miers, $250 B aid for Katrina. The man is an absolute disgrace to the conservative movement.
